The John Wayne: An American Experience is located at Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Fort Worth is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better. From original brick walkways to the wooden corrals, every inch of the Stockyards tells the true history of Texas’ famous livestock industry.

What if I miss my allotted ticket time?
No problem! If you do not make your allotted time, please see the front desk when you arrive at the exhibit and our staff will accommodate you.

John Wayne: An American Experience is permanently located in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. Tickets for children (age 5 and under) are FREE; youth (age 6-15) are $17.95; and military, students, and seniors (age 65 and older) are $20.95 (offered with ID).

Is the exhibit kid friendly?

Food and Drinks are NOT allowed in the exhibit.

Wheelchair accessibility
The exhibit is ADA compliant. In addition, John Wayne: An American Experience has courtesy wheelchairs that may be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis free of charge for use within the building. The wheelchairs, which are all manually operated, may not be taken outside of the Museum. Wheelchairs may be checked out at the Ticket Desk.
